WHAT IS A CNC ROUTER ?

The term “CNC Machine” is typically used to refer to a device which uses a rotating cutting tool which moves in 3 or more axes (X, Y and Z) to cut-out or carve parts in different types of materials. The information on this page will focus on what are typically referred to as “CNC Routers” although it would be applicable to most CNC milling and engraving machines too.

This is just one example and it should be noted there are many other types, sizes, ratios and configurations of CNC too.

With different spindle motor, it can engrave and cut different material:

300W is for PVC, acrylic, plastic, wood model, ordinary wood and other soft materials;

600W is for PVC, acrylic, plastic, PCB board, IC polished, color plates, bakelite, wood model, wood, hardwood, etc;

800W is for PVC, acrylic, plastic, PCB board, IC polished, color plates, EVA foam, carbon fiber, glass fiber board,wood model, wood, hardwood and soft metal and other materials.long time working.

1500W and 2200W is for PVC, acrylic, plastic, PCB board, IC polished, color plates, EVA foam, carbon fiber, glass fiber board, graphite,wood model, wood, hardwood, copper, steel, iron, aluminum alloy, jade and jadeite, etc. long time working.
